St. Gabriel Parish

Welcome to St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church in Woodlawn. We are here to bring you the fellowship of Jesus and the Catholic community in western Baltimore County.

Mass schedules

Our church is situated on seven acres of property, which includes the John Paul Regional Catholic elementary school. (See photo tour.) We are located 1 mile north of the intersection of Rolling Road and Security Blvd. (see detailed directions).

Those wishing to join our parish may obtain a form from an usher.

The Social Outreach Committee wishes to thank all those parishioners who so generously donated to the plant sale last weekend.  The total money raised was $360.17.  And a special “thank you” to Rosemary for working so hard at the plant sale.

Pantry Needs:  We are very much in need of the following for our food pantry:  jellies, syrups and pancake mix, canned vegetables, desserts, canned fruits and canned soups.

Hearts Full of Love-Maturing as a Woman of Faith :  On Tuesday, July 15, St. Jane Frances de Chantal Parish in Pasadena, MD will host a day of discovery for junior high girls .   The day will include Mass, games, food, fellowship, and discussion.  There is no cost to participate and the day runs from 9am-5pm.  For more information contact Melissa Serafin, Youth Minister at St. Jane Frances, 410-255-4646 x1417 mserafin@stjane.org.  Permission slips are available at www.stjane.org

Summer Choir

Thursday evening choir rehearsals are discontinued throughout July and August as usual.  In its place, all members of the parish are invited to come forward to the organ after Mass to review and rehearse the songs for the following week's Mass.  Also, all members of the parish who are interested in starting a new African-American type choir are asked to contact Scott Hengen as soon as possible.
