Sr. Sonia-Marie Fernández is a native a San Juan Puerto Rico, born in Old San Juan. Her family moved to New York City. She joined the Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart, whose mission is to teach our faith to youth and adults. She has had a great deal of experience in teaching and Pastoral Ministry, serving many parishes, including St Michael and At Patrick in Baltimore. Her last assignment was teaching Spanish at Towson Catholic Catholic High School.
