All Souls Day — Remembering the Faithful Departed - St. Gabriel Catholic Church

On All Souls Day (November 2) we will remember especially all those who were buried from St. Gabriel during the past year. A personalized candle will be lit by the family of the deceased in each person’s memory at Mass, and the names will be called out.

Additional Memorial Candles: candles for any of your deceased loved ones are available at the Parish Office for $5. Please provide the name(s) to be listed on the candle(s). These names will not be announced during the All Souls Day Masses, but the memorial candles will be placed near the baptismal font during the month of November. (Not all candles will be lit at every Mass due to fire safety concerns.)

Memorial Candles for November

All Souls Novena: a novena of Masses will be offered for the souls of our departed loved ones beginning on November 2. Please use the All Souls envelope to list the names for your family and return it with your offering in the collection basket or to the Parish Office by Monday, October 30 for inclusion in the novena and in our Book of the Dead. Envelopes are located in your monthly packet, the Narthex, and at the Parish Office.
